My youngest son recently celebrated his 12th birthday. He asked for months specifically for these slippers. There were so many of them on Amazon I chose this one based on the reviews.They appear to be very well constructed. I was concerned they would look and feel cheap but they look like they cost more than 20 dollars. He says they are firm, comfortable and warm. Material is kinda velvety as is the material of the adorable pipe. The pipe (as seen on child's head) is sturdy and made with the same care and materials as the slippers. Super cute. He was absolutely thrilled.I was concerned about the size, either being to small or too large. He is an average sized 12 year old boy, and wears a men's size 7 shoe. They fit him fairly well, with some room to grow or wear heavy socks. I will be happy if he gets a year out of them, and so far they seem to hold up to the abuse of a tween on wood floors.Just buy them.
