Sleep warm all night long with the OmniCore Designs Ultra-Lightweight Multi- Down Mummy Sleeping Bag. We've tried to cram as much features and benefits into the smallest and lightest form factor. At around 3-5lbs. these bag’s have been independently tested to -10°F / -23.3℃ to 30°F / 0℃ following the European Norm (EN) 13537 Testing Protocol. The M-3D Ultra-Lightweight Mummy is powered by our innovative Multi-Down technology. We’ve used Stratusloft in the outermost top and bottom layers to maximize warmth insulating performance in wet conditions. In the layer closest to your body, we’ve utilized the amazing heat trapping ability of the all-natural 650-Fill-Power Down. Another key feature designed just for you is 3-D Footbox allows back sleepers a more natural and comfortable night's sleep by reducing the tension on your feet while in the bag. We've tried our best to optimize the "right" mix of down vs. Stratusloft to maximize performance to weight ratio! The OmniCore Designs M-3D Ultra-Lightweight Multi-Down Mummy Sleeping bag comes in two sizes. The regular size is fit’s most body types of people up to 6’2”. For taller individuals we have the XL will fit most body types of people up to 6’8”. The shell is made of an ultra durable 75 Denier DWR-Treated Diamond Polyester Ripstop which when combined with our Stratusloft outer fill, will keep you dry longer when wet conditions hit! NOTE on EN 13537 testing: The testing standards were created to help provide an apples to apples comparison between various bags. The test uses heated mannequins wearing long underwear and a hat and assumed that the bags are used on a sleeping pad. Also, these mannequins do not move during the test which minimizes the amount of heat loss that occurs during a normal person sleeping for 8 hours. Because of these variables, we recommend choosing adding 20-30F to each bag's rating to maximize comfort. Features: Stay Organized Stay organized and keep your valuables close at home with the internal stash pocket as well as the external footbox storage. 3D Foot-Box 3D Footbox allows back sleepers a more natural and comfortable night's sleep by reducing the tension around your feet. Keep the HEAT in Keep the heat from escaping in around your head with the zipcord, draft collar, comfort hood On-the-go Compression! The compression stuff sack helps squeeze down the sleeping bag into the smallest possible size by pushing out all the air. Sleeping bags with more down will compress down further. NOTE - please use the included storage sack to help extend the life of your sleeping bag. Down needs to breathe so do NOT store the bags for extended periods in a compressed state. This is the fourth Omnicore sleeping bag I've purchased for my family and the second one for myself. . . I bought the mummy bag this time for colder weather camping and it's as good as their warmer weather hooded square bag. These bags are so well made and a lot of thought has gone into them from keeping the sleeping pad from shifting the drawstring hoods, pillow and accessory pockets, zips on both sides, etc. You can't beat their square-hooded bags they are roomy and lightweight, but keep you so warm, but I'm sold on their mummy bag now too!Definitely great value and high quality, I recommend their pillankets too!I needed a better sleeping bag since my old year 2000 $30 Magellan one (pictured) wasn't warm enough or big enough. It had great build quality for the money, but had a zipper on both sides with no zipper flaps, which made it leak heat like crazy. I believe it was rated for 32 F, but was really cold at that temp. This Omnicore -10 F model does seem to be warmer due to its mummy design and single zipper w/flap. It is just barely big enough for my height, 6'5". However, the build quality is probably cheaper than the old Magellan. Yes, cheaper than my old $30 bag from 20 years ago. It will be interesting to see how this design holds up. The tag says "Designed in San Francisco" and "Made in Bangladesh".Also it is a bit tight. There's just enough room in the shoulders (I have broad shoulders) and legs, but not really enough elbow room. It would be easy to get claustrophobic in such a relatively tight bag. Also no zip-in inner sheet, unlike the Magellan. There's a cell phone pocket inside, and a pocket at the feet, which could be used for a flashlight or other item that needs to be located in the dark.Zipper appears to be very good quality, less prone to snagging than the Magellan. However, it did still snag, but it didn't get permanently stuck.I'll give it 4 stars for now and come back and give it 5 if it surpasses expectations.the sleeping bag is well made. good seams and well thought out. my problem is the temperature rating. the add says it is rated at 0 degrees. I froze at 36 degrees. I will keep it as a summer weight bag since it is well made but have to keep looking for a good cold weather bag.I spent my Fall Semester in the Adirondack mtns living in a yurt. I brought this sleeping bag canoeing, backpacking, and it kept me warm while sleeping in a yurt. If you're looking for a less techy bag that'll work in colder months I would recommend this one.I bought this sleeping bag winter 2019-2020. I am 6'5 225lb and it fit me, but would probably not fit anyone even an inch taller. It kept me warm in just shorts and a t shirt on a 20 degree F night twice. The third time I tried to use it, when zipping it up the zipper ripped off and tore a huge hole in the sleeping bag (see photos). I contacted the company and will update this review based on how they respond.UPDATE: They responded the same day and shipped me out a new one for free which arrived in a week. Great customer service!I've only had the opportunity to use this bag once since I've gotten it, but I have to say that I'm impressed. I used it on a single night camp out in Colorado. It was a clear, dry night, but the digital thermometer I had with me in my tent said the temperature went as low as 17 degrees during the night. It was cold! I had this sleeping bag, as well as a bag liner, thermals, and fleece pants, jacket and cap on all night. I can't say that I was overly warm all night, but I was comfortable enough and the bag was roomy and comfortable to sleep in. I wouldn't recommend sleeping at cold temperatures with the bag alone, but with proper layers, it's a nice bag for the price. I also really like how easy it is to stuff in the stuff sack. No trouble at all and still light weight! I have not sleep in more expensive bags that are similarly rated, but for a casual camper like me, this is a good bag!I picked this bag up for van camping on a camping cot. I have tested it twice, and it gets warm quickly. It is a roomy mummy style, meaning you have more room to maneuver inside than traditional mummy bags. There is an insert inside that makes a bit of noise when you move, which would be my only con observation. Buyers should pay attention to how these type of bags are stored, and it's not rolled up or stuffed...you need to leave it uncompressed so the loft is maintained, and only roll/stuff it when getting ready to use it on a trail. If you think you will occasionally need a reasonably priced bag that can handle cold weather, this will be a good investment. This is my 2nd attempt on finding a “big” mummy bag that I can backpack with that will keep me warm on cold PNW nights that packs small(ish). I went with the “tall” because it was Prime, adding 6 more inches which I don’t need. The bag is BIG! I am a side sleeper who tosses and turns a lot. Having room is important for my comfort, making me a happy camper. For reference I am 5’4, 220 40 D size 14 and the bag has plenty of room and can fit into my pack with ease.Rated five stars for all the bigger lady adventures out there looking for a great bag that won’t suffocate you.If I end up cold on my next trip I will update my review. With a -10 rating I am hopeful I’ll be toasty!Happy Trails!
